The whole hospital, screen by screen.
16 tours, one for every job in the building — the front desk, the ward, the operating theatre, the labour room, the laboratory, the pharmacy, the cashier, BPJS claims, payroll, the six KARS patient-safety goals and the director's own screens. 146 steps, each one a real screen with the real control to press.
Ask anything about this product
In English or Indonesian, whichever this page is in. Type the way you would ask a colleague: matching screens appear as you type, and pressing return asks the assistant to explain it in words and number the steps.
The assistant answers only about using this product, from the tours on this page. It is not a clinical adviser — it can tell you where to record a dose, never what dose to give.

These credentials are real and they open Klinik Demo Nusantara on the production system. Every patient in it is invented.

Leadership
The administrator is published too, so the one job you cannot watch from another desk can be tried properly. It is also the only account that can reset another's password or switch one off — everybody reading this page shares this clinic, so please leave the other accounts alone. The ISY platform owner, which creates and suspends clinics across every tenant, is not published and never will be.
Do not put a real patient in here
This is a live tenant on the production system, and anybody reading this page can sign in to it. Register invented people only — a real name typed here is a real medical record in a clinic the public has the password to.
Every screen in this tour is drawn from the same navigation map the console itself uses, so a module added to the product appears here on the same day.
Pick the job you do
Each tour is one person's screens and nothing else — the same buttons, in the same order, that they will press for real.

Every acronym, in plain words
All 39 of them — SKP, MRN, STR, SIP, BPJS, INA-CBG, BOR, SBAR and the rest. Each says what the letters stand for and, more usefully, why somebody using this software cares. Where a tour teaches it, the term opens the screen.
Patient safety & accreditation
What KARS surveys, and the words a survey is conducted in.- SKPSasaran Keselamatan Pasien — Patient Safety Goals
- The six goals KARS accredits a hospital against. They are the spine of the Patient safety tour: identify correctly, communicate effectively, high-alert medicines, correct-site surgery, infection prevention, falls.
- KARSKomisi Akreditasi Rumah Sakit — the hospital accreditation commission
- The body that surveys and accredits Indonesian hospitals. A surveyor does not ask for your compliance percentage; they ask to see the records behind it, which is why every SKP number in this product is derived from records rather than typed in.
- TBaKTulis, Baca, Konfirmasi — write down, read back, confirm
- How a critical value is taken over the telephone: write it, read it back to the caller, have them confirm it. It is SKP 2 in three words, and it is what catches a platelet count of 42 heard as 420.
- SBARSituation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation
- The four named fields a handover is written in, instead of a paragraph. The recommendation is the one that goes missing from free text at the end of a twelve-hour shift, so it has a box of its own.
- LASALook-Alike, Sound-Alike
- Drug pairs a tired eye or a bad phone line confuses — insulin aspart and glargine, for instance. The console flags the pair and the pharmacy stores them apart.
- PPIPencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi — infection prevention and control
- The committee, required by Permenkes 27/2017, that audits hand hygiene and tracks infections. It is its own module in this product because it audits wards its staff do not work on.
- IPCNInfection Prevention and Control Nurse
- The nurse who performs the hand hygiene observations. This product deliberately refuses to let a role both record observations and be measured by them.
- HAIsHealthcare-Associated Infections
- Infections a patient acquired here rather than arrived with. Counted against device days, never against admissions, because a ward with more catheters is not a dirtier ward.
- CAUTI · CLABSI · VAP · SSICatheter-Associated UTI · Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection · Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia · Surgical Site Infection
- The four device- and procedure-related infections surveillance counts separately, because each has a different denominator and a different thing to fix.
- MorseMorse Fall Scale
- The adult falls-risk score. It is worth recording only because saving a high score switches the interventions on and writes them onto the care plan.
- NEWSNational Early Warning Score
- Observations added into one number that says how sick somebody is becoming. It is the trigger in a handover's recommendation — “call the doctor if NEWS reaches 7”.
The medical record
How a patient is identified and how their care is written down.- MRNMedical Record Number
- The number that identifies one patient at one site — KDN-000001. Issued per site, never reused, and one of the two identifiers SKP 1 requires. The bed number is not an identifier and never will be.
- NIKNomor Induk Kependudukan — the national identity number
- Sixteen digits from the KTP. The duplicate check runs on it first, because two records for one person is the most expensive mistake a front desk makes.
- ADTAdmission, Discharge, Transfer
- The three events that make up an inpatient stay, and the spine every bed board and every occupancy figure is built on.
- MARMedication Administration Record — the drug round
- Every dose due this shift across the whole ward, in time order. A dose that is late turns red and is counted; a dose nobody can see is a dose nobody gives.
- SOAPSubjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan
- The four parts of a clinical note. Four fields rather than one box, so the plan is a thing that can be found later by somebody who is not the person who wrote it.
- ANCAntenatal Care
- Pregnancy care before labour, and the register it is recorded in. In an Indonesian clinic the bidan runs this clinic on her own authority.
- AKI · AKBAngka Kematian Ibu · Angka Kematian Bayi — maternal and infant mortality
- Rates, not counts — which is why the director reads the deliveries and the births alongside the deaths. A numerator with no denominator is not a rate.
- ICD-10International Classification of Diseases, 10th revision
- The diagnosis code — I25.9, A09. It is what a death certificate carries, what a claim is coded from, and what makes one hospital's numbers comparable with another's.
Insurance, billing & payroll
Who pays, how much, and what comes off a payslip.- BPJSBadan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial — the national social insurance agency
- Two of them, and they are not the same thing. BPJS Kesehatan pays for healthcare and is the payer on most of this country's invoices; BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is the employment scheme, and appears on a payslip as a deduction.
- JKNJaminan Kesehatan Nasional — the national health insurance scheme
- The scheme BPJS Kesehatan administers. A patient's card is checked against it before the visit, not after — an ineligible card found at the till is a bill somebody has to be told about while they are already unwell.
- INA-CBGIndonesia Case Base Groups
- The tariff system BPJS pays hospitals by: a stay is grouped from its diagnoses and procedures, and the group has one price whatever it actually cost. Coding is therefore not paperwork — it is the invoice.
- FKTPFasilitas Kesehatan Tingkat Pertama — first-level health facility
- A clinic or puskesmas that a JKN member is registered with, and the level a referral has to come from before a hospital's claim is payable.
- PPh 21Pajak Penghasilan pasal 21 — employee income tax
- The income tax withheld from a payslip, alongside the two BPJS deductions. A payroll run that does not compute it is a run that has to be redone.
- Jasa medisThe clinician's share of what their work billed
- Not a bonus and not a salary — a share of the fee, calculated from what that clinician actually did in the period. It is the largest line on many Indonesian payslips and the reason payroll cannot be a spreadsheet.
- P&LProfit and Loss
- Revenue minus what it cost to earn it, month by month. It is the number an owner opens the system for; every other report is how it was arrived at.
- BOR · ALOSBed Occupancy Rate · Average Length of Stay
- How full the wards are and how long people stay. Both are asked for by Ministry reporting and both decide staffing, which is why they sit on the same screen.
Roles, licences & departments
Who may do what, and where they do it.- STRSurat Tanda Registrasi — professional registration certificate
- Proof that a clinician is registered with their council. A doctor holds an STR, a nurse an STRP, a midwife an STRB — and this system asks for the right one because the roles are not interchangeable.
- SIPSurat Izin Praktik — practice permit
- Permission to practise at a named place, and it expires. An expired SIP is not an administrative detail; it is a clinician who must stop working today and a rota that has to be rebuilt.
- BidanMidwife
- Its own role in this system, not a kind of nurse, because a bidan may conduct a normal delivery on her own authority and a perawat may not. Giving a bidan the nursing role is how the one person qualified to run the ANC clinic ends up unable to be the clinician of record at it.
- IGDInstalasi Gawat Darurat — the emergency department
- The second door a patient comes through. It has a screen of its own rather than a filter on the outpatient board, because “scroll the queue” is not an answer anybody accepts at three in the morning.
- OK · Kamar operasiOperating theatre
- Its own module, with its own staff and its own doors. The WHO checklist lives here, and the operation note will not open until all three of its parts are complete.
- WHOWorld Health Organization
- Two of its instruments run through this product daily: the surgical safety checklist behind SKP 4, and the five moments for hand hygiene behind SKP 5.
Standards & the system itself
What this software is, and what it has to talk to.- EMR · EHRElectronic Medical Record · Electronic Health Record
- What this product is. An EMR is one organisation's record of a patient; an EHR is the record as it follows a patient between organisations, which is what SATUSEHAT is for.
- SATUSEHATThe Ministry of Health's national health data platform
- Where a hospital's records are submitted so that they follow the patient nationally. It speaks FHIR, which is why the record here is structured rather than a set of documents.
- HL7 · FHIRHealth Level Seven · Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources
- The standards two health systems use to hand each other a patient without either having to know how the other stores one. FHIR is the modern of the two and the one SATUSEHAT speaks.
- DICOM · PACSDigital Imaging and Communications in Medicine · Picture Archiving and Communication System
- How an X-ray gets from the machine to the screen a radiologist reports on. The report is text in this product; the image lives in the archive the report points at.
- PermenkesPeraturan Menteri Kesehatan — Ministry of Health regulation
- Cited by number and year — 24/2022 for medical records, 27/2017 for infection control. Where this product's rules look arbitrary, one of these is usually the reason.
- Audit log · Access logEvery write · every read
- Two different logs answering two different questions, and neither can answer the other's. “Who changed this” is the audit log; “who looked at this” is the access log, which is what a privacy complaint asks.
